Happy Hour> RDJ1> 3rd & 4th April 2021

This weekend, 3rd & 4th April 2021, on Happy Hour> Radio DJ1 (ONEly trance :d-_-b:) https://bit.ly/radiodj1> from 10:00EET (09:00CET) & 22:00EET (21:00CET), you can listen the album "Find the Sunrise" by Dennis Sheperd, album released on January 15th, 2021.

For his third studio album, Find The Sunrise, progressive trance producer Dennis Sheperd releases 15 massive tracks with a wide range of sounds.Dennis Sheperd has become a huge name in the progressive trance scene since first emerging over a decade ago. During this time he’s released plenty of tunes and two studio albums including A Tribute To Life and Fight Your Fears, which showcased his unique sound and captured the hearts of many trance fans around the world. Now, after a tough year, Dennis Sheperd is back with even more refined sounds to explore with the release of Find The Sunrise. Out now on Black Hole Recordings, Find The Sunrise is an innovative album filled with 15 songs, each of which offers up different sounds that contribute to the charm of the release. Additionally, Sheperd teamed up with other artists such as EKE, RELIJI, and Sunlounger to further expand his range from darker soundscapes to uplifting melodies throughout the journey. While keeping within the ream of progressive trance, Find The Sunrise flows like a smooth river although each track carries a different feel with it. From the dancey tunes of “When I’m Alone” with Joston and Clementine Douglas as well as “How Does It Feel” with Chloe Kay to darker tunes like “I Can Feel” with Sunlounger, Find The Sunrise is a testament to Dennis Sheperd’s talents as a producer.Sheperd also adds some impressive hard-hitting beats and basslines that are sure to be scorchers on the dancefloor with tunes like “Hamsa” and “Miss You” which serves up some tremendous club-ready melodies and beats. A party starting kick combined with a speaker rattling bassline really makes the listener get up and dance immediately. Songs like these are Dennis’s forte and his masterful touch on them will energize anyone who listens.Although these songs go a bit outside of the normal progressive trance sound, they breathe new life into the album and offer up a twist that is warmly welcomed. This can be heard in the album’s title track “Find The Sunrise” with Katy Heath as well as on “Omid” with RELIJI, both of which clock in around 85 BPM and display how Sheperd can thrive at slower tunes. Adding to that, his dive into breakbeats is put on display with “When Our Worlds Collide” with Sarah Russell, which is a solid change-up on the trance-driven album. All in all, Find The Sunrise is a fantastic addition to his already stunning discography. Dennis Sheperd continues to impress with each passing release and we can’t wait to hear what his well-rounded production style offers up next. But until then we can’t wait to shred it on the dancefloor to these fiery tunes for some time to come.

Future Nostalgia is the second studio album by English singer Dua Lipa, released on 27 March 2020 by Warner Records. Lipa enlisted writers and producers such as Jeff Bhasker, Ian Kirkpatrick, Stuart Price, The Monsters & Strangerz, and Koz in order to create a "nostalgic" pop and disco record with influences from dance-pop and electronic music, inspired by the music that Lipa enjoyed during her childhood. The album spawned five singles, along with the title track as a promotional single. "Don't Start Now" was released on 31 October 2019, as the album's lead single, attaining both critical and commercial success. The song became her first top-three entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Physical" and "Break My Heart" were released as the second and third singles, respectively, both reaching the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart. "Hallucinate" and a remix of "Levitating" featuring DaBaby were released as the fourth and fifth singles on 17 July and 1 October 2020, respectively; the latter earned the album its second top-five single on the Hot 100 and the third top-ten of Lipa's career, following "New Rules" (2017). The album was originally scheduled to be released on 3 April 2020, but was moved forward after leaking in its entirety two weeks earlier.Upon its release, Future Nostalgia received widespread acclaim from music critics, many of whom praised the production and its cohesion. Happy Hour> RDJ1> 27th & 28th March 2021

This weekend, 27th & 28th March 2021, from 10:00EET (09:00CET) & 22:00EET (21:00CET) on Happy Hour> Radio DJ1 https://bit.ly/radiodj1, you can listen the album "A Sharper Edge REDUX" by Craig Connelly, album released on December 11th, 2020. Whether the three years since Craig Connelly album-debuted with ‘One Second Closer’ feels long or brief is almost academic. For Craig himself the duration’s provided the ultimate in transformative phases, seeing him punch up from promising name to major contender. With the arenas and festivals getting bigger and his music drawing evermore DJ air & set time though comes ever-greater expectation. That brings us to the ultimate of qualifiers: ‘A Sharper Edge’. Following the 8-million-Spotify-streams-and-counting ‘One Second Closer’, the album is another implicitly titled collection, alluding to Craig’s unlike-any-other approach. At the core of its production lies something that is the result of - if not quite soul searching by Craig, then certainly some introspection. Whilst other artists root their album biases in the instrumental or the vocal, or a particular stylistic bandwidth, Craig composed his down four very specific thematic lines. “I wanted to try a non-traditional approach to this album, says the Manchester born-and-based DJ, and I thought a little pre-production mental exercise might give me some insight. So before ‘A Sharper Edge’s day-one, I crunched what seemed important in my life and more and more four words kept popping back. So when I sat down to compose each track, I tried to bring one of the four - Destiny, Energy, Travel or Optimism to my foreground and subsequently channel it into that piece of music. Whilst all the tracks represent a more radio or club focused sound, every one was designed to have its own story - regardless of whether it has lyrics or not. Even the instrumentals were written with the intention of being anchored in a strong human emotion or feeling.” That ‘A Sharper Edge’ spans trance’s stylistic spectrum and breaks down evenly into seven vocals and seven instrumentals is significantly less by design and more by the innateness of Craig’s process. While never absolute, the tracks’ titles offer prime indicators of which theme drove them. Likely, ‘California’ and ‘Tranceatlantic’ are amongst those that have their mental foundations in Travel, whilst ‘Earth Dimension C-137’ and current single ‘Time Machine’ similarly channel it - albeit less terrestrially. Destiny is most clearly touched on with ‘Life Half Lived’ (spiritually sung by Karina Ramage) and Cammie Robinson’s wondrously carefree turn on ‘Run Away’. The album’s overture ‘Sonic Grey’ and the bassy judder of ‘Everyone Loves A Triplet’ meanwhile address it in more opaque fashions. There are no prizes for surmising that Craig’s exercising his Energy id on ‘Watch The Way You Move’, ‘The Fire’ and ‘Anything Like You’. The tracks respectively feature vocal and co-production collaborations with Natalie Major, Peter Steele and Alex Holmes. The album is at its most Optimism-driven on ‘What Are You Waiting For’, ‘Inhale’ (alongside Will Rees) and with the Siskin (Sue McLaren & Susan Chesterton new vocal sisterhood) sung ‘All For Love’. Concludes Craig: “this album is the biggest and most rewarding body of music I’ve ever produced, I’ve never felt as satisfied with any project as I do with this one. I would love for my fans to walk away from this record with a sense they just heard something which resonated with their life experiences, and they can feel optimistic about the future”.

Happy Hour> RDJ1> 20th & 21st March 2021

This weekend, 20th & 21st March 2021, on Happy Hour> RDJ1(ONEly trance :d-_-b:) https://bit.ly/radiodj1> from 10:00EET (09:00CET) & 22:00EET (21:00CET), you can listen the album "Trance Wax" by Trance Wax, album released on November 6th, 2020.
Five or so years ago, a series of edits and mixes surfaced that really caught the imagination of the dance music community.Combining trance nostalgia with contemporary techno credibility, Trance Wax tapped into a previously unmapped vessel. This hybrid appealed most to the generation of clubbers that fell between two eras.A limited edition run of vinyl bootlegs traded hands on Discogs for exorbitant prices. A cult following was growing. For starters, it's worth emphasising that there really are a lot of ideas weaved through the 14 tracks.Opener Buel Un Latha, Beachbreak and the breaksy Lifeline are in the mould of Chicane and Jakatta, pointing to appreciation at slower paced settings. At a time when we are still feeling the loss of chill out pioneer José Padilla, these tender moments are a welcome tonic.Trance die-hards will be thrilled to learn of guest appearances from both Jan Johnston and Moya Brennan, whose vocals graced early hits of the genre. Their inclusion is a nice nod from the man behind the wheel. For the speed freaks, the tracks Malu, Rivers and Throne push the tempo onto the holy 140bpm marker. These moments are reserved for the final third - a climax of high intensity. The fact that McCartney never drifts into cheesy territory is applause worthy. We cannot recall the last trance record marketed as such, that made such an uplifting impression.

Happy Hour>> RDJ2> 15th & 20th March 2021

Monday, 15th March from 09:00EET (08:00CET) / 21:00EET (20:00CET) & Saturday, 20th March 2021 from 18:50EET (17:50CET), on Happy Hour>> Radio DJ2 https://bit.ly/radiodj2> you can listen 2:10 hours, the album/compilation "25 Years of Hits" by DJ Paul Elstak, album released on November 29th, 2019 ! In the early 1990s, DJ Paul Elstak emerged as one of the pioneers of the hardcore scene and also founded the world's first hardcore label: Rotterdam Records. In 1994 a new movement emerged from the gabberhouse: Happy Hardcore. This music, with fast, cheerful melody lines and vocals, is, unlike hardcore, radio-friendly and accessible to the general public. In the years that followed there has been a real explosion of happy hardcore that is doing very well in the charts. The hardcore scene is also growing to its peak these days, because many young people come into contact with the hardcore scene through happy hardcore. Paul Elstak also decides to throw himself into happy hardcore and subsequently scores a whole row with hits such as Don't Leave Me Alone, The Promised Land, Life Is Like A Dance, Luv U More and Rainbow In The Sky. In the hardcore scene Elstak's commercial foray is not appreciated by everyone, however others point out that Paul has also continued to produce and play hardcore and grant him success. Paul then decides to quit happy hardcore adventure and return to producing hardcore on his own record label: Offensive Records. Paul Elstak is now a living legend worldwide and for later generations he is still the figurehead of both the hardcore and the happy hardcore scene. The fact that the DJ is still popular with the general public was once again evident when he was asked for the title song of the New Kids Turbo film, with which he also won a Rembrand Award for best film hit song. This album is a milestone in the history of the Rotterdam DJ and the only complete hit document for his entire works.
