This weekend, 16th & 17th May 2020, from 09:00 & 21:00 CET, on Happy Hour - Radio DJ1, you can listen the album "One Dream" by Masaru Hinaiji, album released on March 6th, 2020.
With great pleasure and honor, Pulsar Recordings is given the opportunity to present to you a second studio album by no other then one of Japan's finest trance music maestros, Masaru Hinaiji.
The album is a combination of previously released works along with some other that have never been heard before. The album is called One Dream and features 9 beautiful tracks, many of them with female vocals, where some are even sung in Japanese making this a one of a kind release.
The album starts with Secret Flame, performed in the 'Emotional Intro Mix' and is sung by Masaru's long standing vocal partner, Tsuku. A serene intro sets the tone of the album and slowly progresses into a mixture of uplifting and melancholic melodies, while the story behind the lyrics reveals a broken heart that is now searching for a meaning.
Second track is called I Never Forget You and features not one, but two vocalists, Kayumai & Haruko Aoki. The production is once again flawlessy done, but it is those vocals that make this song stand out. From the great vocal performance to the spoken word, even for us not familiar with the language it proved to be an enjoyable piece of work.
From here on the things get on a new level, where SoundLift joins forces with Masaru and helps him out on a remix duty for a track called Autumn Breath. It features beautiful ethereal vocals where the production simply flows with the listener, giving us that sense of an epic tale that has slipped through the cracks of time.
The journey continues with The Sound Of Rain that is delivered in a great uplifting remix by Alex Shevchenko, walking a fine line between happy and melancholic.. the track that takes us further is A Season Of Nostalgia, and the title truly says it all, a production that is made in Masaru's own sound signature. Soul Of Serenity continues on this instrumental path, and is yet another beauty that should be familiar to the long standing Pulsar fans.
Next one is I Feel Love with strong vocal performance by Kana Takayama, and can be described as a classical performance made for the books. The sheer epicness of this work is where we can only take our hats off to these guys for making such an epic piece.
The amazment with this album doesn't stop yet, One Dream is the track that also carries the name of the album, and carries that anthemic Masaru sound where Tsuku clearly gave her best and made this one so catchy with her performance.
The album comes to a finish with one of Masaru Hinaiji's most beautiful works to date, a timeless classic called If I Could Smile, with yet another stellar performance by the talented Tsuku. The duo made a track that has resonated with so many souls out there, proving time and time again what music can do to all of us.
With these nine oustanding tracks we conclude the second studio album by the Japanese maestro, Masaru Hinaiji, a truly unique composer who has enriched our life with his emotional and uplifting music. Thank you Masaru.
